Do  you ever have those times where everything  goes wrong?...yep? I was using Windows Movie Maker  but quickly discovered its  the biggest load of shite I have ever had the misfortune of working with. Growing up  the elders always told me   “If sumthin sounds too good to be true, then it usually is, so don’t be fooled”.  Windows Mover Maker was free   it was already on my laptop, why miss out on an opportunity like this, why pay for some other software when this one was here, free, staring me in the face? Just the other day when  seeing my lastest Facebook status was up by 1500 views compared to normal , my first thought was “Oh my god how depressing” Probably Not the obvious reaction you’d  expect?   The difference between that post and all my other posts was the fact I had no clothes on, I’m naked in the bath..... you cant actually see anything, well not really, apart from a bare arm holding a  glass of Disarronno, and a bit of  a side view that doesn’t reveal anything that’s likely to get any  pulses  racing. So I’ve been putting this update blog off because when you have M.E its like trying to think through a wall of fog most of tha time. But I cant put it off indefinitely, So, first up is change, there’s been major changes since last year so I best explain. It's been over six months since Tha Studio I’ve  recorded all my trax in so far,  moved, so it’s no    longer local, not for me anyhow, if I didn’t have M.E  maybe I would’ve hopped on a train, who knows?  but I cant.                         This has also meant that trax are having to be mixed remotely and there’s been a number of delays and things coming to a halt. It’s a much harder and clinical way of working amongst other things which is why I’ve never been a fan and probably never will be.  Due to tha new circumstances, tha plan of dropping tha album in July isn’t  going to happen now either, ...

As this is my end of year blog I thought I’d incorporate my music & M.E health blog into one. Its been an eventful year to say tha least, for starters never in a million years did I think I’d end up on an album with tha likes of Huey Morgan (Fun Lovin Criminals) @hueymorgan   & Carol Deckor(T’pau)   @caroldecker but I did…how did that happen? ……........ Well earlier in tha year I was approached by tha very talented Stuart Lynch @stuartstweets   who was putting an album together for a cause close to his heart    The Kaira Konka Education Fund    helping children in Gambia to get an education. He asked whether I would donate tha track “No Label”.........what?...me?    I was absolutely chuffed to be asked,  because it’s a great cause & stuart is a very talented musician/engineer/producer.    Tha album is now available for download called "SONGS FOR SOMA" on ITUNES So a big holla of thanx goi...

Have you ever stolen a bit of someones song? Come on..be honest, you're amongst friends. There have been many arguments & lawsuits through the decades concerning stolen songs, nicked guitar riffs, & poached drum kicks. Only today a friend text me to say that she kept hearing a song on tha radio that reminded her of tha opener of my track "I cant Stand Tha Rain" & wondered if tha artist had nicked it..intrigued I went to check it out. So whats ya name? have you tried googling it to see if there’s lots of “YOU” out there. If you put in your real name unless its sumthin really obscure like “Atlas Galactupus   Kirk Homer Lazzard” you’ll find there’s lots of “YOU” out there. Being “ME” only became a problem with the introduction of technology . It naively came as a shock when I tried to sign up to tha first popular social networking site as “stacy hart”  a message came back that tha name had already been taken………..Huh?                               It was only then I began to realise there were actually loads of “ME” out there, I was a lawyer, a photographer, a financial advisor, a seamstress, and it was only when the national newspapers started ringing our house  asking to talk with me about my latest film I realised I was also  an actress. Hey ;) I know things have been a lil strange recently & So I’m hopefully gonna explain what’s been going down. Basically tha bottom line is I hit a crossroads , ya know that feeling of waking up and every days like groundhog day, like running on a hamster wheel an getting nowhere?  & Being ill everyday really is tha mother of all frustrations & while you know there’s plenty peeps worse off and plenty worse things going on in tha world, it really doesn’t help knowing that at this moment in space N time, in fact it kinda makes it worse and  you end up questioning your point, worth N mission in life & try & convince yaself ya not a good for nuthin piece of shit that’s gonna amount to diddley squat like most believed……..even if you still haven’t amounted to anything jus yet. So I’ve taken tha rad step of  changing things up, it hasn’t been easy and it wont be easy, but that’s life and a groundhog existence sure as hell ain’t easy either, so unle...

Sometimes I really have to question my sanity, and none more so than now. As some of you will know, regarding tha last album I stuck a sung hiphop type gospel track on called “SAY” Featuring tha  Watford Gospel Arts Manna Choir  I wasn’t sure whether it would sit well with tha rap and more explicit stuff or wether people would get why I’d stuck it on tha album, but they seemed to and it went down well.   So I’ve decided to stick two on tha new album. Now what with my producer purchasing a new studio in London Westpoint studios  and heading off any time this month, I’m trying to get the recording side of things finished before he moves, so trying to undertake this challenge was a big ask considering I was hoping to get some of tha choir to join me on tha trax again.                                            And I’m excited to confirm that they ...

Once again, I’m here, not only to share my own music journey but also share some of my experiences with you & hopefully help you avoid some of tha pitfalls  . Why would I want to share my knowledge with you for free when I’ve spent years parting with my hard earned pennies only to be shafted you may ask?  Well because there was nobody there guiding me across tha minefield of tha music industry as I was growing up, I had to go it alone & patch up my own wounds.
